The 4-on-4 Dolphin Park Classic originated in the summer of 1986, becoming one of the best outdoor basketball tournaments on the West Coast. Originally the tournament was organized to cater to only Lulu Island's top high school players, but as the years went on, the tournament took on a life of its own and quickly became a true North American hoop-fest. Dolphin Classic now enters its 22nd year and as the tournament continues to grow, we must not forget the roots of the tournament and what it truly represents: family, friends, and basketball.
